Delete your data

Last updated: 19 August 2026

You can have your UsualTasks account and everything attached to it deleted at any time. You do not need a reason, and you do not need an active subscription to ask.

How to ask

  1. Email hello@usualtasks.com from the address on your account.
  2. Use the subject Delete my data.
  3. If you signed in with Google, or connected an Instagram or Facebook account, say so — it helps us find your record when the addresses differ.

We action requests within 30 days, usually the same working day, and reply to the address you wrote from to confirm it is done. That reply is your record of the deletion; there is no reference number to keep track of.

Removing the app from Meta

If you connected an Instagram or Facebook account, you can also remove UsualTasks from your Meta account settings.

That stops us collecting anything further, but it does not by itself erase what we already hold. To have that deleted too, use one of the two options above.

What gets deleted

  • Your account, name, email address and password.
  • Any access tokens for connected Instagram or Facebook accounts.
  • Instagram and Facebook insights we retrieved for your connected accounts.
  • Your checkups, generated reports, saved brand voice and tool history.
  • Your subscription record and referral history.

What we may keep

Two things survive deletion, and only these:

  • Records we are required to keep by law, such as invoices and payment records for accounting purposes.
  • Public venue entries on the weekly standings, which are compiled from publicly available Instagram data rather than from your account. To have a venue removed from the board, ask us and we will take it off.
